Your eyes slowly blink open, your vision blurry and distorted, glancing around the room as you try to make your eyes focus. A gentle hand touches your shoulder and a blurred shape comes into view over you. “Oh~ Good, you’re awake~”, A female voice spoke, the hand leaving your shoulder. “You’ve been out cold for a few days now… I know you are wondering where you are and what happened, but everything will be explained later.” You see a blurred vision of the woman smiling as she speaks. “Just try to focus on gathering your strength… You’re safe here. When you are ready, just head down the hall. There will be signs showing you the way to the Lobby. Everything will be explained there. Take your time, don’t rush… You’ve been through a lot.” Your vision focuses a little more, and you notice the female talking to you is a blonde haired nurse. Blinking, you fight to focus more, but fail. She notices this and her smile shrinks a little. “Please, don’t strain yourself... just recover in your own time. I’ll be right down the hall. If you need me, just press the button next to your bed and I’ll be here to assist you as soon as I can. If I take a while, I do apologize... there are quite a few of you who we found.” She paused as she noticed your sudden frown. Quite a few?... Who were found?... What does that mean..? As if your expression spoke aloud like words, she smiled again as she spoke. “You were not alone when we found you. There were others as well, with the same condition as you. It’s not the first time I’ve seen this... but as I said, everything will be explained shortly in the lobby. Just... relax for now.~” A slight buzzing noise comes from her pocket, and you watch as she pulls out a small device and looks at it. “Oh dear… I need to go.“ She looks back down at you and pats your shoulder gently. “I will see you soon~” She turned and headed for the door, pausing and looking back for a moment. “Remember, if you need me... page me,” she reminded as she left the room. You let your head fully rest against your pillow, sighing as you once again try to focus your eyes. Making out the room, you slowly realize it's a hospital room... only not one you have seen before. It’s more high tech; more advanced than anything you have seen. This notion makes you wonder even more where you are, and what happened. Closing your eyes, you try to recall the last thing you remember, what you were doing... The memory is fuzzy, but you recall a blinding headache that grew over time. The next thing is all black... maybe you blacked out?... You are not sure. You try to move your legs, but they feel weak. … Why do they feel weak?... How long have I been out? Hundreds of questions fill your mind. Sighing, you contemplate trying to get up, or laying in bed for a while longer…. -------------------- Note: Post your characters in the character threads as usual, You guys pretty much already know the rules so I don't think I have to go over it much. So yeah, everyone is in a hospital and they have their own rooms, down the hall is the lobby where they can gather, This is what the Lobby looks like basically, at least the room itself.. inside there are multiple seating like chairs and sofas, along with recreational things to do like pool or foosball and other table top games.. and there is a juice bar along a wall where they can order healthy drinks or snacks to eat.. so on.. this is the main area of the building where people can just lounge in. ---------------- RPING NOTE: I will be doing something new for my role play, I will be personally using my character accounts to post as said characters instead of having everything in one post. Now this doesn't mean you guys have to do it as well, I'm just letting you know that's what i'm personally going to do. See if I like it, if I don't then I will go back to the original way using my main account. But its a trial I wanna do. That is all, Let the game begin! Edited by Cornchip, Oct 22 2017, 03:29 PM.

Maleena groaned as she kept her eyes closed. Opening them seemed to be too much of an effort at the moment. Besides, the light hurt her eyes. Twitching her ears back and to the side, she tries to take in as much of her surroundings with her other senses, noting the very sterile scent the room had, giving her the confirmation that she was indeed in a hospital of some sort. She thought back to the nurse, then frowned. "She was a Human.... Not Furrin.... Am I in Cretheos City right now?" Her frown deepens. "How can that be?.... I was in Xedous..... Talking with Hugo about...... What were we talking about....... She slowed her thought process down a bit, noticing blanks in her memories. This troubled her. If she was in Xedous and if something happened, why would they take her to Cretheos to be treated when for one, its so far away. And two, Brooke is there in the castle, His hospital wing is fully capable of any emergency. Letting out a sigh as if to clear her mind from running away with her, she slowly blinked her eyes opened. Painful at first until they finally adjusted, then looked around. |

Hugo laid on the bed that was far too small for him, his arms spilled off the sides, his feet stuck out off the mattress but he didn't seem to mind. His bed was always small for him. Just a strange dream he had, some... woman spoke to him. No furrin woman either, It was a Human. Or as he likes to call them, Skinners. Creatures with no fur aside from small patches, usually on their head but is mostly bare skin. Not a common thing on Xedous. But they have their fair share of them. Hugo doesn't care for them. But that woman seemed very.... pretty... for a skinner, he thought. He let out a long yawn as he stretched, finally waking up putting that strange 'dream' to the back of his mind. Suddenly he paused. The scent.... This wasn't his room.... He sniffed the air again. This isn't even the kingdom.... With a sudden realization that his "dream" was indeed real, he jerked upwards with a start, slamming his head onto an over head examination lamp with a loud crash, causing him to fall back against the bed again. His hands flew up to his head as he muttered a series of swears before accidentally rolling off the small bed and falling onto the floor with a ground shaking THUD, resulting in a loud exclamation of, "FUCK!" Alex remained still, motionless and unresponsive as the nurse spoke to him. He was listening, but... what else was he supposed to do? He'd just woken up and was immediately bombarded with information while he was still trying to process... everything else. And that was still a work in progress. He remembered getting home after grocery shopping, talking to his mom, and... Nothing. Just, suddenly... here. In this hospital room. Alex frowned. Why was he here? What happened? Hospitals were expensive as hell! Why did this have to happen?! He really didn't want to add more to his mom's plate. A million thoughts were racing through his mind, but more than anything, he wanted answers. Whatever had happened, he obviously didn't know, but he did know that he wasn't found alone. Maybe one of those people remembered what happened to them. He... really didn't like the notion of talking to other people, but... he had to figure things out. After testing how his legs handled his weight, and performing a brief self-check, it didn't seem like he had any physical injuries. That much should have been obvious, now that he thought about it, considering the nurse wanted him to leave his apparent hospital room to go to the lobby. Couldn't really do that with injuries, huh? But that just added more confusion to the question... why was he here? The nurse had said everyone had the same "condition." Was he sick with something else? Well, he wasn't going to figure it out standing around here. Alex headed for the door the nurse left out of and left his hospital room, nowhere near prepared for whatever was in store for him. "Okay, do you think you got it?" Josh asked. "Yeah, I got it! You just do this right?" The little girl asked, shifting her feet as the board started to rise upward. "Look I'm doing it!" She exclaimed to Josh, proud of her accomplishment. Josh smiled and gave her a thumbs up, "Nice job! Now to move forward, do exactly what I showed you." The girl shifted her weight and the board began to take her forward, turning and leaning as the girl maneuvered it with what appeared to be relative ease. She seemed to be catching on quite quickly. "Wow you're doing pretty well for a beginner, I think you're a natural at this." He commented on her skill. "Josh, this is easy! Look at what I can do!" The girl enthusiastically told her instructor. "Okay Mia, don't go overboard. Please be carefu-" He suddenly stopped, a piercing headache suddenly overcoming him. He clutches his head, his brain feeling like it was trying to break through his skull. The pain felt worse than anything he had ever experienced before- it was unworldly. His vision started to fade as he dropped to his knees, quickly becoming very weak and fatigued. "Josh? Josh!" The girl shouted, haphazardly dismounting her board to rush to his aid. The pain becomes overwhelming as Josh collapses to the ground the loss of feeling in his body quickly travels from his feet up towards his head. He watches as the girl barely makes it to him before his vision completely fades away, blacking out.... ------------------ Josh turned his head to the side, the rest of his body remaining motionless in the bed. The woman's voice sounded reassuring. He only took in a few glances of her before shutting his eyes, just barely waking from his stupor. A few minutes later after she left, he felt like he was a bit better to try some cognitive function. He slowly opened his eyes, the bright light blasting his retinas. Eyes adjusting, he slowly brought up each of his hands to look at them. "Okay.... no metal here..." He struggling sat up in bed and overlooked the rest of his body. "No metal there... that's good..." He let out a sigh of relief, glad he wasn't captured and transformed by 'you know who'. Which leads to the next question.... "Where.... am I?" Josh wondered, scanning his surroundings. The nurse mentioned that they were others. Come to think of it... that nurse wasn't familiar either; she definitely didn't look like his kind. Well, he wasn't going to get answers by just lying there. He pushed himself off the bed before crashing into the floor. "Ouch..." He said weakly on the cold floor; walking looks like it was going to be a challenge. |

With an annoyed groan, Frang moved his arm over his eyes and grimaced. How much did I drink last night? Did I just see a human...? There's no way I ended up all the way in Cretheos City- He rolled over before his eyes opened wide, realizing the building was rather complex and hospital like. The eel jerked upright and frowned, what was it that nurse said...? That others like him were found? he quickly scrambled out of bed and clumsily darted out of the door- whatever that explanation was. He wanted to find out what was going on, now. Chalcedony's eyes flickered open as the nurse left, her metaphorical heart beating fast. Wait, was that a human? Why was she dressed like that? I've never seen humans in such weird clothes... She sat up and put her hand on the gem on her cheek, feeling it over for any scratches or cracks. Why was I unconscious and not poofed? My gem isn't damaged... And I don't ever recall wanting to try to sleep. With a swift motion, the large women got out of bed before falling over. "Wha-" I've never been this weak before! What is going on?" The gem's mind darted to the woman mentioning others- maybe there was something that happened to her fellow Crystal Gems. With increasing worry, Chalcedony carefully got back on her feet and carefully made her way to the door, awkwardly attempting and finally managing to open it before heading off to the lobby. "Well, at least that was a pretty face to wake up to." Leonora muttered, only for her to realize the gravity of her situation. Her heart would have stopped if it was actually working. The woman's eyes opened wide and looked around the room for any signs of security cameras before sitting up. What happened? Others? How am I not ashes..? She buried her head in her hands, trying to figure out her situation and why she was in a room that looked an awful lot like a high tech hospital. There's no way they didn't realize I'm a vampire- my pulse is absent and I'm colder than my sire's heart... She glanced over her hands at the door. And yet, it seems like I'm free to go. Did I somehow go into torpor into a future where vampires are accepted? Or is it a trick... The woman noticed her purse lying on the bedside table. She quickly reached over to it and dug out some of the contents of the bag. Once it was exposed, she opened a hidden pocket on the side of the bag and pulled out a revolver with an engraved pearl grip. After inspecting it to make sure there was enough ammo, she put her items back in the purse and put the revolver on top of the items. After making sure everything was in order, Leonora got up out of bed, instantly noticing the weakness her body felt from whatever happened to her. I just need some blood- if that woman was human like her pulse suggested, there's got to be some form of food around here... She slipped her purse over her shoulder, keeping one of her hands on it at all times in case she needed to pull out her gun. Then she walked out of her room, towards the lobby. Barrett sat absolutely still, watching the nurse as she talked to him, wondering why would anyone be so calm talking to his horribly disfigured form. He was exhausted beyond belief, and the ringing in his head as well as the weakness in his body clued him into thinking he badly needed blood. Internally he felt great relief as the Nurse finished talking to him and left- last thing he needed was frenzying and eating whoever that poor woman was. With a deep, forced inhale, the Nosferatu assessed the situation in his head. So, I'm in a hospital where the nurse clearly did not care I look like an old fashioned horror movie monster. She may or may not know I'm undead, if they took my pulse or even put their hand to my flesh. And I have no freaking clue on where the hell I am. he let out a raspy groan, sitting up in bed and putting his feet on the ground, noticing he was fully dressed. Thank the Lord they didn't strip me, I'd feel sorry for the poor soul that would have to witness THAT view. He quickly looked himself over, then carefully got to his feet as he tried to remember anything leading up to this moment. The last thing he remembered was that he was taking care of his mother's gravestone, but everything after that was either a blur or a complete blank. Did hunters get me? But I might as well have been ashes then... I guess the only explanation I'll get is from that nurse. He rubbed his chin, debating on if leaving his room was a good idea or not. With a graceful slowness, Dhakors sat up in xis bed and looked around the room. This hardly looked like any building in Nielea, and xe did not recall falling asleep. Perhaps this is another dimension- but I wasn't near anyone strong enough to open a portal like that... And that doesn't explained how I was knocked out... The ex-deity slid xis robe off, looking over xis body for any signs of bruising or bodily harm. I was definitely not hit physically then. Dhakors closed xis eyes, playing through xis memories until reaching xis latest memory. Xe had started falling asleep, but xe also recalled the onset of a sharp pain in xis head. Similar to the one that lingered on in xis head. It must have been a spell- but why? No one knows who I am- only Riana. And she hardly seems the type to do something like this. Shifting xis focus to the area around xim. Keeping xis eyes closed, Dhakors concentrated on detecting the emotional states of anyone near xim. While xe couldn't tell exactly where they all were coming from, Dhakors felt various feelings of confusion, anger, fear, and anxiousness coming from nearby people. The nurse had mentioned others who had been in a similar state to xim; they must have all woken up as well. The former deity slipped xis robe back on, then carefully got out of bed. With the intent of hearing what the nurse had to say, and hopefully comforting some of the other poor souls that ended up here, clumsily left xis room and headed for the lobby. Venux clenched his fists as he watched the nurse leave. Whoever put him here was definitely going to get a fistful from him- and maybe even a less-than-mild shock. He sat up and put his hand into his coat, watching as a viper lazily climbed up his arm and flicked its tongue at him. His eyes looked over the strange room, which decidedly did not look like any place he has ever seen. "Well, Rafa. I don't think we're Erinn anymore- if that's possible..." He stroked the snake's head before letting it slither back into its hiding spot. Either than or... He felt over the cracked metal collar on his neck. No. The damage hasn't changed, time certainly hasn't passed... He glanced over to the doorway, taking a moment before getting out of his bed with a stumble. After righting himself, he slowly and weakly approached the doorway and exited his room. He then leaned against it to try and recover more of his energy and watch anyone who might pass by to see if he could figure out where he was. With a groan, Riana slipped out of her bed as her cloudy memory buzzed. Instantly her thoughts felt directed to her uncle, causing the girl's eyes to widen. I need to find him...! She instantly dismissed any foggy questions she had in her head about her situation as she wobbled on to her feet and hastily made her way to the door, tripping over he feet as she exited to the hallway. She then began investigating the rooms nearby until she her a somewhat familiar voice call out... Zachariah's eyes fluttered closed as he tried to process the situation. That woman who had just left was dressed in clothing that he had never seen worn in Nielea, and the whole room looked nothing like places in Nielea. Not even the snobbiest and richest of humans had places this clean and sanitary looking... He rubbed his brow as his thoughts wandered to the last thing he remembered. He was spending time with Riana at the Fest of Hallowed Eve celebrations in the market. She wanted to tell him something, and then his memories started to get fuzzy. He thought he recalled her collapsing to the ground suddenly in pain, and then he blacked out shortly after. The demon's thoughts paused for a second before he leaped out of his bed "RIANA!" He called out in worry, only to fall flat on his face. The door opened a cracked, and a pair of orange and purple eyes peered into the room. They showed some excitement at the sight of the demon on the floor, and Riana quickly opened the door and hurried inside. "Uncle! She quickly ran to his side, helping him to his feet. With a yawn and a stretch, Kala slid off her goggles and bandana mask, glancing around the room. Wait, is this a hospital...? Why am I not in those funny hospital clothes? And where's my sister?! She quickly felt over her body, not noticing any pain except in her head. I... I feel weak, and my head hurts. But... She shook her head, Where am I? With a start, Hakumei jolted upright and reached out for the woman as she left, but she couldn't get herself to spit out words. Her body tensed at the entirely new environment- wherever she was, it was not safe enough for her or anyone else around her. Nothing looked familiar to her at all- the closest was the nurse and even her outfit looked a bit odd. Her pulse raced for a few moments as Hakumei's mind raced- trying to find something her memories of what happened to her. She drew a blank, however, and shoved her face into her hands as she tried to trake deep breathes to calm down. She can't let her emotions get the best of her- especially not in such a less than ideal situation where Hyakuhei could take contro- Hey worthless, what did you do THIS time? The woman let out an annoyed groan, and adjusted how she was sitting. Whoever put her into this bed didn't even bother taking her armor off and it was rather uncomfortable. "I would have assumed this was your fault..." She growled out, realizing she preferred the buzzing in her head over the blabbering of Hyakuhei. Hell no, I'd put you in a much worse situation than a comfy bed- and I would have made sure that woman was ribbons before you even woke up. Just so you can see her pretty corpse lacerated and her blood on your hands. Hakumei froze, her eyes almost glazing over as she was forced to mentally picture the scene by Hyakuhei. "NO!" She shrieked before snapping out of the bloody vision, she quickly curled up in spite of her discomfort from her armor. She gripped tightly on her face, trying to block out Hyakuhei with whatever mental strength she had. As she struggled with her- or rather Hyakuhei's- thoughts, a loud thud and an angry yell came from next door to her room. The noise broke Hakumei out of her struggle, causing her to jump and freeze, staring at the wall it came from. She scrambled out of her bed, picking up her bag as well as her weapons. She wanted to get out of here- before any harm to could come to anyone. Fighting against the weakness in her limbs, Hakumei almost ran out of her room and walked swiftly down the hallway, her eyes looking around for an exit. |

Maleena's eyes slowly scanned the room. 'This is nothing like I've seen on Xedous before....', She thought to herself. Slowly she sat up, cautious not to move too fast, her head was still swimming. And she felt that if she moved too fast, she would easily fall over. Carefully she slid off the bed, wobbly for a moment before heading towards the door and opening it. She peeked her head out and looked down the hall. A rather long hall, filled with rooms on each side, at the far end she noticed the two large double doors. That must be where the lobby is. Letting out a small sigh she stepped out of her room and made her way down the hallway, glancing at the doors as she walked by. |

Come on... I can't lay here forever! Josh internally spoke to himself as he crawled back over to his to use as leverage in picking himself up. Once he was sure he had a good grip he pushed himself upward whilst moving one foot at a time to bring each sole back in contact with the floor. Surprisingly enough, the strength in his arms was coming back quicker than his legs. Once he removed himself from the support of the bed, he could easily feel the mini-earthquake occurring in his legs. If just standing without falling over was a trial, running was definitely not an option to try out right now. He took a deep breath and began to slowly walk towards the door. Josh's walk was more of an alternating, staggering limp, though, with him doing his best to keep his balance. Upon reaching the door, Josh didn't hesitate to open it wide and move in the door frame, using it as a temporary brace while he scanned the hallway for his exit. He quickly noticed that the hallway was rather long and it appeared his exit was at the very end- not too far to simply walk but not easy at all to cripple walk all the way down. He shook both his legs a couple of times in an attempt to wake his legs up more. Feeling slightly better, he moved out into the hallway towards a pair of double doors with a more stable walk. |

Maleena came up to the two large doors and hesitantly placed her hands on them, pushing them open. She glanced around the massive room, and her jaw dropped open slightly. A large white room with a full wall of nothing but a series of glass windows, offering a view of a rather large and busy high tech city outside. Inside the lobby room was a huge lounge area, with plush seating ranging from couches to recliners or love seats. Some pointing towards the windows, some circling around small circular fire places that are alite. On the far end of the room seemed to be a small cafe with a sit in bar, where a bartender stood, cleaning a glass and chatting with a few patrons. The thing that caught her attention the most was the vast majority of... creatures.. there. Beings from many different areas, many of which she has never seen before. No one seemed to pay her any mind as she walked in slowly. Edited by Maleena Kyle, Oct 29 2017, 11:36 AM.

Hugo got up off the floor, rubbing his head as he glanced around, noticing the door and went straight for it. He didn't hesitate opening it and going out into the hall, looking which way to go, noticing the two big doors at the end of the hall, and noticing others heading towards it. Thoughts raced through his head as he recalled as much as he could before the black out. Him and Maleena were in the castle, going down to the golden pools.. She wanted to try and communicate with Xedous herself... Much to his disapproval... But where is he now... More importantly, where is SHE? He furrowed his brow as he picked up the pace, shoving past people without any apology. He could care less about his well being.. But if he was here, there was a chance she could be too.... But he hoped he was wrong. |

Somehow, Alex had made his way through the hallway without seeing anyone. He pushed his way through the double doors at the end and entered the lobby. The room was massive, and the view through the windows could probably give him an idea of where he is. Alex, however, hadn't so much as glanced at the windows. His attention was solely on the other... people?... residing in the lobby. It... had to be a dream, right? There were creatures out of fiction here! Furred creatures, impossible sizes, multiple limbs... he could go on forever. He came here to try to get answers out of someone, but he just ended up with more questions and a rising fear. His legs had taken him as far away from anyone else in the lobby as he could get. At least the room was spacious. |

Josh's eyes widen entering the lobby. Before stood, sat, and... float? Creatures that he had never seen before in his life. Some had various colors while others had various appendages. After his brief pause of scanning the room, he moved over to the section of the large window to see if maybe he can figure out where he was. Maybe he was just in some weird part of Mobius? The confidence in that thought was fleeting walking through the room, passing more creatures. At the window, he looked out and surveyed the immediate area, "Heh... Guess I'm not on Mobius anymore..." |

As he slowly adjusted to the weakness in his short legs, Frang soon found himself pushing through two large doors into a lobby filled with other people. And as he heard other doors open behind him, he guessed that plenty more would show up as well. The eel Aquian scrambled over to a nearby seat and collapsed in it. Having short legs was already sometimes a lot of work, but having to navigate the people and room while trying not to fall over was more than too much effort for him- even if there seemed to be a bar nearby that called to him. Cautiously slipping into the hallway, Chalcedony quietly walked down the hallway, awkwardly moving past a few people that clearly were neither gem nor human before making it into the lobby. Once she had opened the door, her jaw nearly dropped at the huge variety of people- or whatever they were- around. Where in the universe am I? She questioned, deciding to move herself over to the nearest window to get a look of her surroundings. She carefully moved her way past the people around her- being a 7 foot tall and thick gem made her feel like she stood out like a sore thumb and she didn't want to bring any more attention to herself. When she reached it, the gem looked over the view. Leonora walked down the hallway and through the doors as if she owned the place before stopping in her tracks to look over the huge assortment of... creatures located in the vicinity. Taken aback, she quickly pinched her cold skin before moving off to the side to look over the people. Okay, where ever I ended up... It is not some sort of odd dream- or at least I'm was sure it isn't. She crossed her arm and glanced over to the cafe, And I imagine getting a drink here is going to be a lot harder than I thought. I have no idea how my tastes are going to react to whatever form of blood these... people...? have. Slowing her pace a bit, Hakumei briskly walked through the doors of the lobby and froze in her tracks once she noticed the sheer amount of creatures and people in the room. Her eyes widened slightly and she quickly went for the most isolated part of the room before sitting on the floor next to a wall, her legs curled up to her chest. There is no way this isn't a dream- this is nothing like Eirinn... She clenched her fist and looked down at her feet, trying to make sense of the whole situation. With a snort and a kick, a large, fuzzy, grey mass shifted underneath Hakumei's former bed. A groaning yawn was heard and then a a small thud as the animal hit his head accidentally on the bed. A grey wolfhound crawled out from underneath and looked around with excitement, looking for his master before realizing she was gone. With an urgency the dog darted around the room, trying to find her, before sniffing at the ground and following the scent to the door. He then stood on his hind legs and started clawing and pawing at the doorknob awkwardly, trying to get it open. Eventually, he managed to slide his paws just right as the door pushed open under the sudden release and the large dog's weight. He quickly rushed out of the room and down the hallway, following Hakumei's scent and pushing past a young girl's legs as she opened a door into a larger room. His ears and tail perked up oncee he entered the room, looking around for his master with little to no care about the other people in the room. Kala groaned as she weakly slid out of bed- I have to go see what that nurse was talking aobut. If she seemed okay with me leaving, then I can check out, right? She quickly- and clumsily- scrambled out of her room and down the hallway. And just as she opened the door, a grey dog shoved past her, causing her to look down. "Hey!" Slightly disgruntled, she looked up to see where the dog had went, only for both of her arms to drop at her sides. "Woah..." The huge variety of people in the room made her feel as if she was dreaming. There was no way this was real- and yet... She sure felt as awake as ever- her fading headache made sure of that. With excitement she darted over to what appeared to be a cafe- if she was going to find out what was going on here and maybe even ask everyone questions; she was going to need some fuel. Dhakors opened the doors to the lobby and quickly moved ximself to lean against a nearby doorway. Being a former deity does not leave you naturally inclined to weakness- especially with how long xe spent living as an all powerful being. As xe rested against the wall, Dhakors noted the huge variety of people and races- something not unusual to Nielea. And yet, many of them looked nothing like the races that xe knew- even the ones that had passing resemblances to the races found on Nielea still did not quite match up. Hm, I would definitely be convinced I am on another plane of existence or another dimension. But I still cannot think of anyone in Nielea with that kind of power- only my fellow deities... And they don't know what happened to me or where I was. The man crossed xis arms under xis robes, watching over the people. All these people might be under the same circumstances as I am- I supposed at least I could be a great help to them. Xe then took notice as a woman walked into the room, taking note that her emotions were of panic and stress- more so than the others so far in the room. As xe watched her take her place in a lonelier part of the room, the former deity decided to approach her, hoping to give her some comfort. After sitting on his bed for a good few minutes contemplating what he should do, the hunched over Nosferatu carefully got out of bed, wobbling a bit before regaining his balance. Well, I almost feel my age like this- hopefully I can see if I can find some blood to fix me up... He peered out of his door, watching as some oddly dressed human-looking people walked by and then some not-so-human looking creature shortly after. Barrett frowned as he closed the door and waited a moment I think I'm going crazy. Unless I walked into some sort of 'convention' kids these days like going to. But that wouldn't explain anything else... Forcing a deep breath of air into his non-functioning lungs, Barrett left his room and went down the hallway in the direction everyone else seemed to be going. Opening the doors to the lobby, he looked around and took in the various people there. Yea, there is no way that these people are wearing costumes... Where am i? he froze as he realized he felt someone staring at him. He looked out of the corner of his eye and noticed a red headed woman sneaking a glance at him before looking away again. The Nosferatu frowned, noticing she had an off feeling to her- one that was slightly familiar and yet still... creepy. Opting to move away from the strangers, Barrett moved to a corner of the room to watch the people and their habits- trying to make sense of the people in the room and maybe even familiarize himself with them. Venux quietly strolled down the hallway, staring down at his feet and ignoring any person who walked by him. A huge part of him just wanted to find out what was going on so he could just figure out how to go back home and get away from all these people. As he entered the lobby, he took notice of the huge variety of... beings that was in the room. Great, now how am I going to be alone? With an annoyed sigh, Venux took a seat nearby and tried to look as unfriendly as possible in hopes that no one would sit next to him. "Heh, I really gotta watch my step." Zachariah grinned as he was helped to his feet by his niece. "More than that- but I'm honestly glad you're here. I have no idea where we are and why we're here- I'm struggling to remember the last thing before now." With a concerned look, Zachariah put his hands on her shoulders. "Where ever we are, I'm glad I'm here for you too so I can keep you safe." Riana pulled him in for a hug and smiled, "Pff, you're so overprotective. But I appreciate it." She let go and turned around, "Now, that nurse said something about explaining everything. I really think we should go check it out." With a nod, Zachariah followed Riana out of his room, down the hallway, and into the lobby. They both stopped in their tracks and stared upon entering the lobby. "Oh dear, I don't think we're on Nielea anymore..." Riana stood speechless as she stared at the people and beings in the room. Where are we...?" "Well, your grandmother used to tell me tales of other dimensions. Our kind- demons- did come from another plane long ago, and some of us still do have a connection from it... Maybe we somehow ended up on another plane?" Zachariah crossed his arms and continued to look over the room, not noticed Riana's gaze had landed on someone with a black and white robe. Is that who I think it is...?p She wondering, watching the figure closely. |
